Where London Rush Meets Essex Chill
As one of the pre-eminent conference venues in Essex with a history dating back to 1887, our beautiful building has some inspiring event spaces both inside and out. Adaptability and flexibility of these unique event spaces enable us to cater for a number of different corporate events. From the Kings Room with it’s beautiful mirrored walls, state of the art lighting and sound system, the Oak Lounge with it’s elegant high corniced ceiling to the Beach Club and Poolside Terrace with starlit tent and overlooking our 100′ pool, we’re sure we’ll have something that will appeal to your chosen corporate theme.

The Kings Room

The glamorous mirrored Kings Room is a versatile event suite that can accommodate award ceremonies, gala dinners, product launches, fashion shows, corporate parties as well as conferences, meetings and team building events with full AV and PA systems, large bar area and complete with a state of the art lighting system setting the scene with a variety of colour combinations and club sound system. As conference venues go, this room offers something a little different with plenty of glamour and style, with further breakout space from two adjoining rooms, the Oak Lounge facing the views of beautiful Epping Forest and the Beach Club Marquee opening out into the ‘Nikki Beach’ style Kings Oak Beach Club with outdoor pool & terrace area enclosed by walled gardens, a jewel in the centre of London’s beautiful Epping Forest.

The Oak Lounge

The period restored Oak Lounge is ideal for corporate hospitality, intimate business meetings and private dining. This event space has been lovingly restored to its Victorian splendour, decorated with ornate chandeliers and gilded mirrors and with views overlooking Epping Forest the atmosphere of tranquillity lends itself to board meetings, smaller seminars, corporate lunches and dinners. The Oak Lounge has high ceilings to give an air of spaciousness as you enter through our original Victorian tiled entrance hall, suited for an impressive entrance. With screen and projector in situ, we can furnish to suit every occasion with comfortable leather high backed chairs or a range of casual seating. As conference venues go, the Oak Lounge offers great versatility.
