The choice of venue can be construed in many ways but ultimately the choice needs to be ‘on message’ to your audience whether it be a conference for the staff or a company meeting. The award-winning Kings Oak is in an inspiring location, nestled in the middle of Epping Forest in a place known as High Beach, only 20 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of the Docklands. It’s not just down to the team that’s your main contact, it’s the floor managers. bar managers, the technical team, chefs, cleaners, pool attendants, maintenance guys and yes even the dreaded accounts team that make everything run effortlessly and hassle-free.
Introducing Your Initial Contacts
Your initial contact will be one of the team below. Our ‘Dream Team’ as we like to call them. Extremely talented at what they do and ready and waiting to hear from you.

Paula Silkman
Running our events department since 2010, Paula has a fabulous grasp of what the customer is looking for and is the ‘go to’ person for inspiration and customer service. Having run clubs and promotions in Essex & London prior to her joining the Kings Oak, her events experience is unsurpassed. Known effectionately within the KO team as ‘Princess’ for reasons we won’t mention here, she’s definitely Essex royalty we couldn’t be without.

Jill Allday
Jill’s been part of the events team since 2012 having joined us from corporate life in London City. Heading up the corporate team, Jill’s immense organisational skills ensure that the demands of corporate events are calmly dealt with no matter what the event is. Known as the ‘fittest’ of the team, Jill will be found at 6am instructing a ‘spin class’ in one of our local gyms. If she’s not in Essex, you’re find her dancing on her favourite island…. Ibiza. Enough said.

Skye Jacobs
Skye is the youngest member of the team but in no way does this detract from the immense events experience she brings to the KO. Having joined us in 2014 her previous positions as VIP manager and head of promotions at some of Essex’s prime night clubs, the energy and tenacity she brings to her role at the KO is exhausting to observe. If we had to describe Skye in one word we’d choose ‘Duracell’ as it encompasses her limitless energy and reliability.

Claire Dawes
Claire joined us in 2013 from the sponsored events department of the O2 Arena where she had exposure to a very diverse portfolio of clients. This experience has been invaluable to the KO team as her attention to detail is second to none and a definite asset to any team charged with looking after corporate events. Known as ‘the quiet one’ of the team this is a fallacy as she was a team member of launching ‘Kisstory’ in Ibiza…. and nothing is quiet there.
